Two RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetails A30-003 & A30-001 Complete Airwork at Fraser Coast Airports

On Monday 29 August, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft were noted completing airwork at a couple of Fraser Coast Airports during two separate visits.

Firstly, A30-003 as "Wedgetail 02" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to complete a missed approach at Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.  It then flew down to complete another missed approach at Coffs Harbour before returning to Williamtown.

Then, A30-001 as "Wedgetail 01" also flew up from Williamtown but to Bundaberg Airport where it spotted (above) completing a missed approach.  It then too completed another missed approach at Coffs Harbour before returning to Williamtown.
