The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ Calls into Central West Airports - Plus More!

On Thursday 25 August, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ was noted visiting a couple Central West Airports.

It looked to depart Brisbane for Barcaldine Airport before continuing to Winton and then Longreach Airport where it seems to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Friday 26 August, VH-SGQ departed Longreach Airport and returned to Brisbane.

Meanwhile also on Thursday 25 August, Edwards Coaches Cessna 441 VH-TAZ visited Longreach Airport but from Archerfield.  It also visited on Wednesday 24 August also from Archerfield.

MT Air Charters / Pilatus Australia Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-JMU departed Longreach Airport for Mount Isa and Brunette Downs.  It had arrived two days prior.

While Beech A36 Bonanza VH-DBO popped into my local Clermont Aerodrome, arriving from Gympie before departing back there but via Archerfield.  It then flew over to Caboolture from where it is scheduled to fly to Longreach Airport and back on Saturday 27 August.

Brisbane-based Crockett Aviation Group (ex FIFO Jet P/L) Beech B200 King Air VH-FAQ visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Archerfield and the Sunshine Coast.

And RDO Equipment Co. (ex Vanderfield) Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH departed Moura Aerodrome for Chinchilla Aerodrome before then heading home to Toowoomba.  It had originally departed Toowoomba on Tuesday 23 August and spent a night at Emerald Airport as well.

Finally, also on Thursday 25 August, DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ arrived into Mackay Airport from Bundaberg Airport.  At the time of writing, it is due to return to Bundy on Friday 26 August.
