American-registered Gulfstream Aerospace G650ER (G-VI) bizjet N988NC Arrives into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 20 August, American-registered Gulfstream Aerospace G650ER (G-VI) bizjet N988NC was noted arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Sydney.

At the time of writing, it appears to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 23 August, N988NC departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Sydney.

Also visiting Hamo, also on Saturday 20 August, was Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO which arrived from and then later returned to its Bankstown base.

And arriving into Hamilton Island Airport was Avia Aviation (Victoria) Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-MSU.  It touched down from Melbourne (Essendon).

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 23 August, VH-MSU departed Hamilton Island Airport for Bourke and then Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 20 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Search and Rescue (CHC Helicopters Australia / Lloyd Helicopters) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-SYJ as "Choppa 22" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to Moree and then to Charleville and Longreach Airports before continuing to Mount Isa.

UPDATE!  On Sunday 21 August, VH-SYJ "Choppa 22" continued from Mount Isa to Tennant Creek, RAAF Base Tindal and RAAF Base Darwin where it seems to be providing support for the RAAF's Exercise Pitch Black 22.
