NZ7002 then flew into Townsville - where it is pictured above on a previous visit last month.

NZ7002 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Kiwi 550".

Of interest, NZ7002 "Kiwi 550" flew up from RNZAF Base Auckland at Whenuapai to Honiara and then Cairns on Saturday 6 August.

UPDATE!  On Monday 8 August, NZ7002 "Kiwi 550" departed Townsville and looked to head towards New Caledonia.
