Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna Citation Bizjets VH-SIY & VH-PIY Both Call into Hamilton Island Airport - Plus More!

On Saturday 12 November, a pair of Machjet (Machjet International) / McDermont Aviation Group Cessna Citation bizjets were noted visiting Hamilton Island Airport.

Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY visited Hamilton Island Airport from the Sunshine Coast.  While Cessna 525C CitationJet CJ4 bizjet VH-PIY flew across from Ayres Rock to land at Hamilton Island Airport.

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 15 November, VH-PIY finally departed Hamilton Island Airport, flying all the way down to Hobart.  VH-SIY also visited Hamo on Tuesday, again visiting from the Sunshine Coast.

Meanwhile, also on Saturday 12 November, Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-BEV of Milbrae Quarries / Pegasus Air flew from Charleville Airport to Ingelara before flying down to Frome Downs in South Australia.  It then flew back North to Charleville Airport before heading to Ingelara and back to Charleville Airport again.  VH-BEV is planned to fly from Charleville Airport to Adelaide on Sunday 13 November.

The Walgett Aero Club Cessna 182 VH-EEW departed Rockhampton Airport for Walgett.  It looked to arrive into Rocky from the South on Thursday 10 November.

Locally-based R-Mach Aviation Cessna 185A Skywagon VH-YME departed Rockhampton Airport for Townsville.

And Tex Onsite (Tex Assets P/L) Aero Commander 500-U VH-TXE arrived back into Rockhampton Airport from Mount Isa and Emerald Airports.  It had departed to Far North Queensland and the top of the Northern Territory back in mid-October.
