The pilot, Adam Broome, departed Durham, North Carolina heading Eastbound, in late April.  He has been joined by family and friends who make up the “Great Circle Flyers”.  N5831R touched down in Australia via Broome, Western Australia in mid-June.

It's unclear how long the Bonanza will stay at Hervey Bay and where it will depart to and when!

You can follow the progress of N5831R on their website:  https://greatcircleflyers.com/

Finally, there are unconfirmed reports that an Australian Army Eurocopter (ARH) Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopters A38-001 visited Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport on Friday 1 July.  If any of our readers have a photo they would like to share, that would be awesome!
