Making a surprise visit to both Mackay and Emerald Airports very early on Tuesday 26 July was Hinterland Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-HJS.  It called into Mackay Airport from its Cairns base and soon after, departed to Emerald Airport.  From Emerald VH-HJS then flew to Caldervale Station where it appears to be staying for the night.

VH-HJS was noted using the flight number and radio callsign as HND780 ("Hinterland 780").

At the time of writing, VH-HJS looks to be due to depart Caldervale Station early on Wednesday 27 July for Keeroongooloo.

Meanwhile, another King Air to call into Emerald Airport on Tuesday 26 July was Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO.  It called in from Dalby and Theodore.  It had arrived at Dalby on Monday 25 July from its Toowoomba base via Goondiwindi.  It looks like VH-WXO will depart Emerald Airport early on Wednesday 27 July for Dirranbandi.
