Sunshine Air Services Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-VLZ Returns to Hamilton Island Airport Wednesday

A really busy day of bizjet movements on Wednesday 6 July starts with us reporting on the return to Hamilton Island Airport of Sunshine Air Services (of Victoria) Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 VH-VLZ.

We reported below that it had flown from Hamo to the Gold Coast and back on Tuesday 5 July but this clearly did not happen with VH-VLZ arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Melbourne (Essendon) early on Wednesday 6 July.  It departed back to Essendon around the middle of the day.

Meanwhile, Alizzi Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-ZOS departed Hamilton Island Airport, returning to its Ballarat base in Victoria also on Wednesday 6 July.  It had arrived on Hamo from there on Sunday 3 July.

UPDATE!  In fact, VH-ZOS DID NOT DEPART Hamilton Island Airport on Wednesday 6 July.  It was scheduled to return to Ballarat on Friday 8 July but at the time of writing (Friday night) VH-ZOS IS STILL parked on Hamo!

And a couple of other smaller light General Aviation (GA) aircraft depart Hamilton Island Airport on Wednesday 6 July included Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD which departed back to its Monto base after arriving from there on Friday 1 July.  While Grumman AA-5 Tiger VH-WPM departed Hamo for Emu Park after it arrived from Longreach on Sunday 3 July.

Finally, Rokospol Aviation Roko-Via LSA VH-THB departed Longreach Airport and arrived at the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour also on Wednesday 6 July.
