Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan N271EX Back in CQ at Emerald Airport Heading Back North

Yet again, brand new Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan N271EX has passed through CQ, this time calling into Emerald Airport on Wednesday 13 July.

It flew North from Bankstown and after taking on fuel, continued to Townsville.

N271EX is no stranger to CQ having visited Longreach Airport on two previous occasions with its most recent visit in early June when it was heading to Darwin (as pictured above).  Shortly after, it flew onto Western Australia and then back to the Sunshine Coast via Charleville Airport on Friday 10 June.  After a period of time at the Sunny Coast, N271EX flew to Bankstown on Friday 24 June.

Meanwhile, another foreign registered light General Aviation (GA) aircraft in the form of New Zealand registered Pacific Aerospace (PAC) 750XL ZK-KNP departed Longreach Airport early on Wednesday 13 July for Darwin on what looks to be a ferry flight overseas - see Blog post below.

Local plane spotter Sid M was on hand to capture these great photos as ZK-KNP was approaching Darwin.  It is interesting to note the Asian type writing on the side of the aircraft suggesting that the aircraft is certainly on a delivery flight.

Thanks mate!
