Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-JFB Pops into Gladstone Airport Wednesday - Plus More Alliance Charter Flights to Emerald Airport

Late on Wednesday 17 July, there were some interesting charter flights to Gladstone and Emerald Airports that were flown by Alliance Airlines.  The flight were operated by every type of Fokker aircraft in their fleet!

Of note was the arrival of Fokker F-70 VH-JFB into Gladstone Airport from Brisbane as UTY664.  It was the new Fokker jet's first visit to the port city.

VH-JFB later departed Gladstone for Barcaldine as UTY651, where it later departed back to Brisbane direct as UTY652.

Meanwhile, at Emerald Airport, Alliance Fokker F-50 turbo-prop VH-FKY and Fokker F-100 jet VH-XWQ both operated charter flights into Emerald from Brisbane late on Wednesday 17 July.  VH-FKY flew as UTY668 and VH-XWQ flew as UTY662.  Sources suggest that the Alliance Fokkers are staying in Emerald for the night with expected departures back to Brisbane early on Thursday.

Thanks to Gladstone plane spotters Jamie C and Tash C for the lovely photos of VH-JFB!
