Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-YIT Pops into Gladstone Airport Twice on Sunday

For the second time in just over a week, a Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 has landed at Gladstone Airport operating a closed charter flight from Brisbane.

This time however, there were two such charter flights on Sunday 7 July which were operated by the same B737-800 - VH-YIT.

Local plane spotter, Michael F has sent through some magnificent images of VH-YIT as it touched down mid-afternoon from Brisbane as VOZ9651.

It later departed back to Brisbane empty as VOZ9650.

Then - just on dusk - VH-YIT returned to the port city from Brisbane, this time as VOZ9653.

VH-YIT later departed back to Brisbane - empty again - this time as VOZ9652.

Thanks to Michael for sending through his magnificent images of a truly unique visitor to Gladstone!
