On Monday 22 July, local plane spotter Michael F spotted the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) Australian Helicopters-operated Bell 412 VH-LSY at Gladstone Base Hospital.
It is believed that VH-LSY - using the radio callsign "Rescue 300" - was tasked from its Rockhampton base to Heron Island and then to Gladstone Hospital.
