Fantastic Plane Spotting Photos - In the Rain - From Gladstone Airport This Week

Local plane spotters Jamie and Tash have sent through some spectacular plane spotting photos from Gladstone Airport this week as torrential rain inundated the region.  Low level cloud and humidity - in between the rain showers - made for some truly spectacular photos!

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines ATR 72-600 VH-FVZ arriving on Tuesday 25 March.

Also on Tuesday, QantasLink Dash-8-Q400s VH-QOS and VH-QOV provided some spectacular arrival and departure photos!

Also on Tuesday 25 March, QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200s VH-NXQ and VH-VH-NXI were captured by Jamie and Tash making some equally spectacular arrivals and departures in the murky weather.

On Wednesday 26 March, QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 VH-NXG called into Gladstone Airport.  Jamie and Tash then ventured to the end of Runway 10 for its departure to show how really murky the conditions were!

VH-NXG was also back on Thursday 27 March - this time touching down on Runway 28.

VH-NXQ was also spotted through the rain taxiing to its parking position.

Some great photos from Jamie and Tash at Gladstone Airport this week!  We sincerely thank them for braving the weather to capture them!
