Ex Talisman Saber 2017 - Some Photos of Thursday's RAAF C-130J Hercules Action at Rockhampton Airport

Sorry!  We ran out of time last night to post these!  But also on Thursday 20 July, local plane spotters Kayanne H and Daniel B were on hand at Rockhampton Airport to capture some great photos as a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft came to and went from Rockhampton Airport on various sorties.

Firstly, A97-441 was spotted arriving from the North as "Trojan 06".  It parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rocky Airport parking apron.

While it was there, A97-465, which had spent the night at Rocky, departed to Williamson Airfield in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) as "Mambo 20".

  

Later, A97-441 departed to RAAF Base Richmond again as "Trojan 06".

And A97-465 returned to Rocky before it also departed toward the South again as "Mambo 20".
