Making a spectacular arrival into Rockhampton Airport on Thursday 6 July was Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Boeing B757-2K2 NZ7571.
It was captured by local plane spotter 'IAD' as it touched down as "Kiwi 560" directly from RNZAF Base Ohakea - an operational base of the Royal New Zealand Air Force near Palmerston North. It taxied in and parked on the Northern end of the Rockhampton Airport apron.
After unloading some personnel and their bags, NZ7571 departed to Brisbane again as "Kiwi 560".
The visit of the B757 was one of two spectacular visitors into Rocky on Thursday during preparations for joint Military Exercise Talisman Saber 2017 (TS17).
Sincere thanks to local plane spotters 'IAD' and Trevor H for taking the time to capture and send through these awesome photos!
