Ex Talisman Saber 2017 - United States Air Force (USAF) Dornier C-146A 97-3091 Pops into Rockhampton Airport

Spotted arriving in the late afternoon at Rockhampton Airport on Tuesday 11 July was United States Air Force (USAF) Dornier C-146A (Dornier 328-120) wearing the serial number of 97-3091.

The Dornier arrived from the North as "Magma 02".

Visiting duties complete, 97-3091 "Magma 02" departed Rocky after dark for RAAF Base Richmond.

Of interest, the Dornier is of 524th Special Operations Squadron, an active squadron of the USAF, based at Cannon Air Force Base,  New Mexico, with the 27th Special Operations Wing.
