Recently Delivered Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-UQB First Visit to CQ at Rockhampton Airport

On Friday 19 October, Alliance Airlines recently delivered Fokker F-100 jet VH-UQB was noted making its first visit to Central Queensland, arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane operating on behalf of Virgin Australia Airlines as VOZ1245.

The Fokker later departed back to Brisbane as VOZ1248 before returning to Rocky and staying for the night!  VH-UQB is expected to complete one more visit early on Saturday 20 October.

Of interest, Fokker F-100 VH-UQB was delivered to Alliance Airlines at Brisbane (as pictured above) on Saturday 29 September after it completed the final legs of its delivery flight from Europe via Kupang and Townsville.  It entered service last Monday 8 October by completing a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) closed charter flight from Brisbane to Trepell and back.  It also visited Cloncurry Airport on Wednesday 10 October.

The almost 25-year-old Fokker F-100 was registered VH-UQB to the airline in March 2018 and previously operated as OE-LVF with Austrian Airlines since 2005.

As we've mentioned many times previously, Alliance Airlines has flown from Brisbane to Rockhampton, Gladstone and Bundaberg Airports on behalf of Virgin Australia Airlines since 2017.
