Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

On Tuesday 30 October, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 was noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.  It had flown up to Rocky from Canberra via a missed approach at the Sunshine Coast.

After completing the airwork, A36-001 departed Rocky for Tamworth in New South Wales before it then returned to Canberra.

The BBJ was heard to flying as "Envoy 44".

Meanwhile, a smaller RAAF aircraft in the form of Beech B350 Super King Air A32-339 was also noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport also on Tuesday 30 October.  The Super King Air was flying as "Hudson 22" and came down from Townsville to Rocky.  It then continued to the Gold Coast and ports further.
