BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation Cessna 441 Conquest II VH-EQU Spotted at Mackay Airport - Plus More!

BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation of Scone, New South Wales, Cessna 441 Conquest II VH-EQU has had a busy week and it has called into some Central Queensland Airports over the last couple of days.  It was spotted below resting on the Western General Aviation (GA) apron at Mackay Airport during the afternoon on Wednesday 24 June.  It had earlier arrived into the Sugar City from Gladstone and Rockhampton Airports.

VH-EQU had arrived into Gladstone Airport on Tuesday 23 June from Tamworth in New South Wales, via stops at Maryborough, Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) and Bundaberg Airports.

At the time of writing, it appears to be scheduled to continue up to Cairns via Townsville and Innisfail on Thursday 25 June.

Fellow BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation Beech 58 Baron VH-SQC completed its weekly visit to Biloela / Thangool Airport, arriving from Scone and Maitland on Tuesday 23 June before departing back to Maitland on Wednesday 24 June.  It then flew back up to CQ and called into Rockhampton Airport from Tamworth and Archerfield before later returning direct to Tamworth.  A big day!

Meanwhile, also on Wednesday 24 June, Seair Pacific / Istelcote De Havilland DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-ZKF was again noted at Rockhampton Airport operating the weekly Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) closed charter flight from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Rocky then up to Collinsville Aerodrome and Townsville.  As usual, VH-ZKF later returned South over the same route.

While also on Wednesday 24 June, Sundown Pastoral Company (of Bonogin in the Gold Coast Hinterland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-NSI was also noted visiting Rockhampton Airport from but direct from the Gold Coast.

Finally, at my local Clermont Aerodrome, also on Wednesday 24 June, Beech 58 Baron VH-KGK visited from Archerfield, while Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN arrived from Toowoomba-Wellcamp Airport and stayed for the night.
