Queensland Government Airwing Raytheon Hawker 850XP Bizjet VH-SGY Arrives into Mackay Airport - UPDATED!

On Tuesday 9 June, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted arriving into Mackay Airport.

It touched down from Brisbane.

At the time of writing, it appears that VH-SGY is remaining in the sugar city for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 10 June, VH-SGY departed Mackay Airport and was noted arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  During the middle part of the afternoon, VH-SGY was spotted (below) departing to Brisbane.



UPDATE!  Also on Wednesday 10 June, it’s worth noting that the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ called into Bowen and Mackay Airports after starting the day at Townsville.  It had flown North to Cairns and then Townsville over the early part of the week.

UPDATE!  On Thursday 11 June, VH-SGQ continued from Mackay Airport to Moranbah Airport and was expected to head back to Brisbane on Friday 12 June.
