Quite a Few other Light General Aviation (GA) Aircraft Spotted and Noted Around CQ Airports Again This Week

Over the last couple of days, there has been yet more light General Aviation (GA) and general charter aircraft spotted and noted visiting various Central Queensland Airports.

On Wednesday 3 June, Seair Pacific / Istlecote DHC-6-100 Twin Otter VH-ZKF completed its weekly run from the Gold Coast and Brisbane to Rockhampton Airport before flying up to Collinsville Airport and then Townsville.  It then returned South over the same route.  While, as shown below, fellow Seair Cessna 208 Caravan VH-KNQ was spotted at Rockhampton Airport also on Wednesday 3 June after earlier arriving from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.


At the time of writing, VH-KNQ is due to make an early morning departure from Rocky on a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) flight into Wanella Station (near Coppabella) before flying to Maryborough Airport.  Another Seair Cessna 208 Carvan VH-TQW is also due to call into Wanella, also on Thursday 4 June however it is due to arrive from Hervey Bay Airport and depart back there via Maryborough Airport.

Meanwhile, also noted calling into Collinsville Airport, also on Wednesday 3 June, was Beech 95-B55 VH-MYM which touched down from its Gayndah base.

UPDATE!  VH-MYM returned to Gayndah via Mackay Airport on Friday 5 June.

Another couple of lighties also spotted at Rockhampton Airport, also on Wednesday 3 June were the weekly visitor in the form of Air Gold Coast Beech 58 Baron VH-YDC.  As usual, it looked to arrive into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville before later departing to Archerfield and then the Gold Coast.  It flew North the previous day.


And Pilatus PC-12/45 VH-PID which arrived into Rockhampton Airport from its Toowoomba base on Tuesday 2 June.  It departed back there later on Wednesday 3 June.


Out at my local Clermont Aerodrome, also on Wednesday 3 June, Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXB arrived from Toowoomba-Wellcamp and Murwillumbah Automotive Group (New South Wales) Cessna 182 VH-YDW arrived from the Sunshine Coast.  Both were due to depart on Thursday 4 June.

Up at Mackay Airport, also on Wednesday 3 June, BPW Aviation / Airspeed Aviation of Scone, New South Wales, Cessna 404 Titan VH-SKV visited from Brisbane.  And Bayswater Road / Australian Aerial Mapping (AAM) Cessna 404 Titan VH-LAD was also noted visiting.

While a pair of Cirrus SR22s VH-PAS and VH-VCD were also noted passing through Mackay Airport - VH-PAS arriving from Townsville and departing to Southport (a return flight from the previous day) - VH-VCD arriving from Innisfail and departing to Emerald Airport and Toowoomba (also a return flight from the previous day).

Another couple of Cirrus SR22s were also noted passing through CQ Airports but on Tuesday 2 June with VH-ULN arriving into Rockhampton Airport from Toowoomba and later departing to Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport.  While VH-YDA also visited Rockhampton Airport but from Boonah.

And further up at Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport, on Tuesday 2 June, Henty Aviation Cessna 425 VH-BSM looked to arrive from Archerfield.

UPDATE!  It appeared that VH-BSM remained parked until Friday 5 June when it departed Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport and returned to Archerfield.

Finally, some small Cessnas noted passing through CQ Airports also on Tuesday 2 June with Paraway Pastoral Company (Orange, New South Wales) Cessna 182 VH-KDU departing Rockhampton Airport for Gladstone, Longreach and Rocklands Airports.  It had arrived from Rocklands Airport last week.

While AAA Aircraft / Flight Options Flight Academy Cessna 172s VH-ZOB and VH-AQR both visited Rockhampton Airport from their Sunshine Coast base.
