The Weekly FIFO Charter Flights Call into Central Queensland Airports Yet Again on a Tuesday - Plus More!

On Tuesday 20 September, probably the final time we will mention the three weekly operated Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights into and within the region.

Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO visited Moranbah Airport once again, arriving from West Sale and Bourke and later departing back there and then eventually to Melbourne (Moorabbin).

DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome, this time with a stop at Gladstone Airport.

And Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN arrived into the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.  It is due to return to Wellcamp early on Wednesday 21 September.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday 20 September, re-registered Brisbane-based Cessna 310R VH-NBI visited Rolleston Aerodrome from Archerfield.  VH-NBI was previously registered in Victoria.

And Aerometrex Vulcanair (Partenavia) P.68C VH-CJJ looked to fly all the way up from Melbourne (Essendon) via stops to Charleville Airport and then Rockhampton Airport.

Finally, also on Tuesday 20 September, Metro Holdings Australia (Air Link - Dubbo) Textron Aviation (Cessna) 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-SQV visited the region once again, arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Archerfield. and the departing to the Gold Coast.

VH-SQV then looked to fly across to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour where it spent the night.

It also visited Hamo yesterday and has been all most a daily visitor to the region over the last week!

And Avcair (Avgunn) LearJet 60 bizjet VH-ILJ visited Mackay Airport from Brisbane.
