Two RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetails A30-002 & A30-001 Complete Airwork at CQ Airports

On Friday 9 September, a pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft were noted completing airwork at a couple of Central Queensland Airports during two separate visits.

Wedgetail A30-002 as "Wedgetail 24" flew up from RAAF Base Williamtown to Hamilton Island Airport where it was noted completing a missed approach.  It then returned South via another missed approach at Gladstone Airport and then back to Williamtown where it was photographed above.

While Wedgetail A30-001 as "Mitchel 31" also flew up from Williamtown to Hamilton Island Airport where it too completed a missed approach.  However, it returned South to Williamtown but via a missed approach at the Sunshine Coast.
