Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook Helicopter A15-307 Spotted Passing Through Emerald Airport

On Monday 24 October, Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopter A15-307 was spotted passing through Emerald Airport.  It looked to arrive from the North (possibly direct from Townsville) and looked to complete a missed approach at my local Clermont Aerodrome!

The Chinook was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Easy 327".

After taking on fuel, A15-307 departed Emerald Airport for the Oakey Army Aviation Centre but with a different radio callsign of "Patriot 325".

While we thought the Chinook might have continued down to the Southern states for also assist with the ongoing flooding relief efforts - joining fellow Australian Army Chinook helicopters A15-305 and A15-306 - which have been in Victoria for over a week - it appears that A15-307 has commenced operations out of Oakey and in the surrounding area.
