Toll / Helicorp (of Essendon in Victoria) Bell Helicopter Textron 412EP VH-LWF Arrives into Rockhampton Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 11 October, Toll / Helicorp (of Essendon in Victoria) Bell Helicopter Textron 412EP VH-LWF was photographed soon after arriving into Rockhampton Airport.  It had earlier flown up from the Oakey Army Aviation Centre.


After refuelling, it departed via an overhead circuit of the nearby Army Camp (DSG) and the Rockhampton Base Hospital before it then departed to The Glen Airfield within the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).  VH-LWF then returned to Rocky where, as shown, it appeared to be staying for at least the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 12 October, VH-LWF departed Rockhampton Airport for a fly around through the Shoalwater Bay Training Area again and then down the Capricorn Coast and up the Fitzroy River back to Rocky.  After a refuel, VH-LWF then departed back to Oakey.

Also on Tuesday 11 October, LifeFlight Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter VH-XIA departed The Glen Airfield at the completion of its deployment in support of the Singapore Armed Forces' Exercise Wallaby 2022 (XWB22).  It looked to fly down to refuel at Bundaberg Airport before continuing to Archerfield.

And one final helicopter in the form of Heli-Aust Whitsundays (Mackay) Eurocopter EC135 P2 helicopter VH-ZGZ ferried up from Coffs Harbour to Gladstone Airport via Ballina / Byron Bay Gateway and Archerfield Airports.  It seems to have been operating out of Dyke Point, Carrington in Newcastle, and it ferried South to there from Mackay Airport in late-July.

Meanwhile, also on Tuesday 11 October, Victoria-based Cessna 402C VH-ZMG popped into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport from Mareeba before departing back to there and continuing to Cairns.

Brisbane-based Australian Agricultural Company Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-AAC landed at Longreach Airport from Brisbane before then departing to Brunette Downs. 

South Coast Aerial Services P/L (Victoria) Piper PA-31-325 VH-BRZ landed at Longreach Airport from Undara and Hughenden.  It seems to be on a closed tourist charter flight.

While Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN flew up from Toowoomba-Wellcamp to Chinchilla, Yellow Bank and Rolleston Aerodromes before it then flew back to Wellcamp.

Fellow Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-XDW visited the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

And Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO visited Moranbah Airport once again, arriving from West Sale and Bourke and later departing back there and then eventually to Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Plus DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome, this time with a stop at Rockhampton Airport.

Finally, some bizjet action, also on Tuesday 11 October, with Balmoral Air Dassault Falcon 2000LX bizjet VH-WIO arriving into Hamilton Island Airport from Bankstown.  It looked to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 12 October, VH-WIO departed Hamilton Island Airport and returned to Bankstown.

MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC was noted visiting the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It looked to arrive from and then later depart back to its Sunshine Coast base.

And Robindale Group / Air Link Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-CMK flew into Emerald Airport from Orange via the Sunshine Coast.  It looks to be staying for the night.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 12 October, VH-CMK departed Emerald Airport and returned to the Sunshine Coast and then Orange.
