Qantas Airways Airbus A330-300 VH-QPE & Royal Brunei Airlines Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner V8-DLC Both Back Rockhampton Airport Taking Exercise Wallaby 2022 Personnel Home to Singapore

On Sunday 9 October, the third and final wave of heavy jet passenger charter flights in support of the Singapore Armed Forces Exercise Wallaby 2022 continued with more personnel and equipment heading home following the end of the Exercise last week.

On this occasion, Qantas Airways Airbus A330-300 VH-QPE touched down first at Rockhampton Airport, flying back from Singapore's Changi Airport as QFA6001.

It parked on Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport parking apron.

Soon after, Royal Brunei Airlines Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner V8-DLC also returned to Rockhampton Airport, also from Changi, but as RBA4282.

Both heavies were then loaded with passengers and bags.

VH-QPE then departed back to Changi but as QFA315, while after dark, V8-DLC also departed back to Changi but as RBA4283.  It then flew to Brunei as RBA4284 suggesting that it won't be back.

On the other hand, VH-QPE was planned to return to Rockhampton Airport again on Monday 10 October, with one final flight back to Changi.
