Local plane spotter Jamie C has sent through a couple of lovely images of a trio of visiting King Air aircraft to Gladstone Airport over the weekend.
First to touch down at Gladstone on Saturday 7 September was Coastwings (Sutherland Aviation) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-WXC. It is pictured departing to parts unknown.
Also visiting on Saturday was KJM Contractors' Raytheon B200 King Air VH-KMS.
It should be noted in Jamie's photos that there has been some recently added taxi guidance lines with three additional parking bays - 10-12 - indicated for visiting King Air and smaller aircraft. VH-KMS was parked on one of these new bays during the day before it departed to Biloela / Thangool Airport later on Saturday.
Meanwhile, early on Sunday 8 September Jamie spotted Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-FDA departing to Brisbane as "FlyDoc 401".
An overall quiet weekend at Gladstone, but we thank Jamie for sending through some great photos from what limited action there was!
