Local plane spotter 'IAD' was on hand again as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 landed at Rockhampton Airport for the second time this week on Friday 13 September.
After landing from Cairns, and then back-tracking Rockhampton's Runway 33, A39-004 taxiied onto Juliette and parked on the taxiway while it underwent a 'crew change'.
A little later the KC-30 - using the radio callsign "Dragon 14" - taxiied for and departed of Runway 33 heading South on return to Amberley.
Sincere thanks to 'IAD' for his fantastic coverage of the two visits by A39-004 this week at Rockhampton Airport - your efforts are much appreciated by me and other enthusiasts alike!
