Also spotted at Rockhampton Airport over the weekend was A C Airways / Smart Air (of Albury in New South Wales) Piper PA-31 Navajo B VH-KMW. It had arrived into the beef capital earlier in the week from Mackay Airport.
It continues to complete aerial survey flights around the region - venturing South to Gladstone Airport on occasion - but mostly returning to Rockhampton Airport where it seems to be currently based.
Meanwhile, another Piper Navajo to call into CQ over the weekend with Pekal Aviation of Boggabilla (NSW) Piper PA-31-325 VH-TRA noted visiting Bundaberg Airport on Saturday 15 September. It arrived from and later departed back to its Goondiwindi home base.
