Perhaps Our Last Photos Before Re-Paint of QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOH in Breast Cancer Awareness Colours

After operating out of Melbourne and Sydney in recent days and weeks, on Monday 24 September, QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOH was spotted visiting Central Queensland Airports - perhaps for the last time in its Breast Cancer awareness titles and colours.

It has been reported that VH-QOH will enter the Flying Colours Paint-shop at Townsville this week and will most likely be re-painted into the new Qantas 'Silver-Roo' colour scheme.

On Monday, VH-QOH completed an early return flight to Rockhampton Airport and then Emerald Airport before then returning Rocky and continuing to Mackay Airport, Townsville and Cairns where it finished the day.

VH-QOH was spotted at Rockhampton Airport (above) and Mackay Airport (below).

It has been reported that VH-QOH will fly to Townsville on Tuesday 25 September and enter the paint-shop.

After being delivered to QantasLink in 2006, VH-QOH had its distinctive pink livery of The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) applied the following year.

VH-QOH has been affectionately known as 'Pinkie' and 'The Happy Dog' by many plane spotters around Australia.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the leading community-funded organisation in Australia raising money for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.  The National Breast Cancer Foundation website can be found at:  http://www.nbcf.org.au/
