Hevilift Australia ATR 72-500 VH-FVM Enters Service with FIFO Charter Flight into Moranbah Airport

On Friday 14 September, and around a fortnight after its first test flight out of Brisbane for the company, Hevilift Australia (Fixed Wing Division) ATR 72-500 VH-FVM finally entered service and operated a closed Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight into Moranbah Airport once again.

On this occasion it was noted using the flight number and callsign of HT721/722 as it flew from Brisbane and back.

Of interest, VH-FVM completed two further test flights back on Thursday 30 August and again on Friday 31 August, each time flying into Moranbah Airport from and back to Brisbane as HT701/702.

Finally, Hevilift’s ATR 42-320 VH-YWH continues to operate regular FIFO charter flights into CQ – this week it operated from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast to Biloela / Thangool Airport on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and also operated a flight into Middlemount Aerodrome from and back to Brisbane on Tuesday.
