American-Registered Eclipse EA500 Bizjet N257AK Pops into Longreach Airport from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour

Interesting to note that on Sunday 8 August, the often visiting American-registered Eclipse EA500 bizjet N257AK was noted completing a daytrip flight out to Longreach Airport, flying from and back to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.

N257AK had arrived into Shute last Monday 2 August, arriving from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport via Archerfield.

It also appears that N257AK completed a flight out of and back to Shute on Friday 6 August, flying up the coast to complete a missed approach at Townsville and then back to the Whitsundays.

Meanwhile, also arriving into Longreach Airport, also on Sunday 8 August, was Mooney M20J VH-KDC.  It flew up from the Sunshine Coast via my local Clermont Aerodrome.

Finally, on Saturday 7 August, Machjet (Machjet International) Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-SIY was noted visiting Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  It looked to arrive from the Sunshine Coast and depart to Adelaide.
