And More RAAF and Army Aircraft and Helicopters Spotted at CQ Airports

Over the last three days there's been yet more Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Australian Army aircraft and helicopters conducting airwork at CQ Airports and in CQ airspace.

On Thursday 15 January, Australian Army Sikorsky S-70A-9 Blackhawk helicopter was noted calling into Rockhampton Airport from the North as "Redback 204". It then departed further South.

On Friday 16 January, RAAF Beech 350 Super King Air A32-439 was noted flying from Townsville to conduct airwork around Biloela / Thangool Airport.  Following that, it was heard to track to Emerald for more airwork, before continuing on to Amberley Air Base.  A32-439 was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Dingo 25".

Finally, late on Saturday 17 January, and as some serious weather rolled into town, RAAF Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 made its third visit to Rockhampton in less than a week, this time heard performing a missed approach on Runway 33 as "Dragon 13".

It's been a good start to the flying year for the Australian Defence Force!
