WA-Based Cessna 208 Caravans VH-KSA & VH-LNN in and out of Longreach Airport This Week

Pretty quiet out at Longreach Airport again this week, with the usual QantasLink and Regional Express (REX) RPT flights from Brisbane and Townsville, however I noted with interest that a pair of Kununurra-based Aviair (formerly Slingair Heliwork) Cessna 208B Caravans have ferried in and out of the central-West hub while heading to and from maintenance in the South-East corner of Queensland.

Firstly, VH-KSA ferried South from Kununurra to Redcliffe, calling into Longreach from Mount Isa on Tuesday 6 January.

Then on Thursday 8 January, VH-LNN ferried North from Redcliffe to Longreach and on to Mount Isa and evenutally Kununurra.  It had ferried to Recliffe for maintenance in September 2014.

Meanwhile, beautifully presented Cessna 441 VH-OPM, which is registered in Warrnambool in Victoria, called into Longreach twice this week, flying between Warrnambool and Cooktown and back.
