Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUV Makes a Surprise Visit to Gladstone Airport Wednesday

Making a surprise but most welcome visit to Gladstone Airport on Wednesday 21 January was Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VUV.

The jet was noted to be operating the VOZ1711/1714 service from and back to Brisbane and is suspected to be an unplanned service due to some delays and diversions to other Virgin aircraft due to the inclement weather affecting parts of Central Queensland over the last couple of days.

Early indications suggest another Virgin Australia jet should visit Gladstone Airport again late on Thursday 22 January with an Embraer E-190 'scheduled' to call in on the late afternoon VOZ1717/1720 service.
