A Couple of RAAF Movements at CQ Airports Wednesday incl E-7A Wedgetail A30-005 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

On Wednesday 14 September, there were several Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) aircraft noted flying around various parts of CQ.

RAAF Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-005 was noted completing a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport as "Mitchell 02".

Around the same time, RAAF Boeing B737-7DF(BBJ) A36-002 was noted landing at Bundaberg Airport as "Envoy 99" from the South.  It departed a short time later heading back towards the South.

Another RAAF aircraft of the VIP 34 Squadron in Canberra - Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-001 - was noted flying North as "Envoy 98" from RAAF Base Amberley towards Mackay Airport where it looked to complete a low-level fly-over.  It looked to continue up towards Hamilton Island before then continuing up to Townsville.

Finally, a pair of RAAF Beech B350 Super King Air turboprops were also noted completing airwork around CQ.  A32-651 - flying as "Dingo 33" - complete six circuits at Rockhampton Airport before landing for a short time.  A32-439 - again flying as "Hudson 8" - was noted flying from Townsville to Hamilton Island, Barcaldine and then Longreach Airport.  It was then noted flying Hughenden back to Townsville.
