UPCOMING! Rescheduled Callide Dawson Flying Group (CDFG) Thangool Fly-in This Weekend - 1-3 October

The Callide Dawson Flying Group (CDFG) will be holding their second biennial fly-in at the Biloela / Thangool Airport over the course of Saturday 1 October to Monday 3 October.  The Fly-in was postponed from July when inclement weather passed through the region causing the even to be rescheduled.

The big three-day program kicks off on the Saturday with the majority of aviators and their aircraft expected to arrive at the Thangool Airport. There will be an official opening of the Fly-in followed by dinner and book launch.  The night will be capped off by entertainment until late!

There will also be markets on the Saturday while food and drinks will be available at the Fly-in all weekend,  There will be raffles and both fixed-wing and helicopter joyflights and Trial Introductory Flights (TIFs) available from local operators.

The CDFG invite all interested aviators and aviation enthusiasts to attend the three day event, along with members of the general public who would like to have a look!  All proceeds of any monies collected will aid the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) and Angel Flight.
