Making what appeared to be a late afternoon med-evac flight into Mackay Airport on Wednesday 28 September was LifeFlight (ex Careflight Queensland) (Aeromed) LearJet 45 bizjet VH-CXJ "Ambulance 452".
It flew into Mackay from its Townsville base and returned to Townsville after around 90 minutes on the ground.
