Making a surprise but most welcome visit to Rockhampton Airport late on Friday 10 July was Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Lockheed C-130H Hercules NZ7003.
It called in from the North as "Kiwi 44" and looked to have cargo loaded before departing back North a short while later again as "Kiwi 44".
As we mentioned below, NZ7003 wears a special piece of tail-art depicting that the Lockheed C-130H Hercules has reached the significant milestone of fifty years in service with 40 Squadron of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
Sincere thanks to Phil M for taking the time to capture and send through these awesome photos of another great RNZAF visitor to Rockhampton Airport in support of the New Zealand Defence Force's participation in joint Military Exercise Talisman Sabre 2015.
