Skytrans Airlines Dash-8-100 VH-QQI also visited Hamilton Island Airport also from Cairns as SKP960/1. This appears to have been a closed charter flight.
While Hevilift Australia (Fixed Wing Division) ATR 72-500 VH-FVI was noted visiting Mackay Airport presumably on a closed charter flight. It arrived from Townsville as HT709 and later departed to Cairns as HT710.
Finally, also on Sunday 3 April, four Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) / Qantas Group Pilot Academy Diamond DA-40 Star training aircraft were noted visiting the region after flying up from their Toowoomba-Wellcamp facility.
