Clive Palmer's NEW Mineralogy Company Bombardier Global Express 6000 Bizjet VH-VQN Calls into Emerald Airport - Plus More!

On Tuesday 18 October, a nice first-time visitor to the region with Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company's newly registered Bombardier BD-700-1A10 Global Express 6000 bizjet VH-VQN noted calling into Emerald Airport from Brisbane.

After spending the day parked, VH-VQN later returned to Brisbane.

Of interest, the Global Express 6000 was only registered in September and delivered to Mineralogy in Brisbane last Monday 10 October - as pictured above.

Of further interest, the registration marking VH-VQN, was previously worn by a Jetstar Airways Airbus A320 which left Australia back in 2013.  After being stored and re-registered EI-FEN, the A320 was then leased to Bangkok Airways in Thailand and re-registered as HS-PPK.

While also visiting Emerald Airport, also on Tuesday 18 October, was Clive Palmer's Mineralogy Company Agusta A119 'Koala' helicopter VH-KOL.  It actually looked to arrive the previous day from Archerfield, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba.  Later on Tuesday, VH-KOL returned South.

And also visiting Emerald Airport, also on Tuesday 18 October, was MacKellar Mining Equipment Pty Ltd (Revesco Aviation) Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-MMC.  It arrived from the Sunshine Coast and then departed to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's (Bravus Mining & Resources) Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It later looked to return to Emerald Airport before then heading back to its Sunshine Coast base.

A busy day!

Meanwhile, a couple of other bizjets in the region, also on Tuesday 18 October, included Brisbane-based Teys Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ2 bizjet VH-TEY which made a really early (before dawn) visit to Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield.

AirMed Australia Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-PWX as "AirMed 998" flew up from Bankstown to Maryborough Airport (pictured) before then returning there via Coffs Harbour.

And American-registered Eclipse EA500 bizjet N257AK departed Mackay Airport for Archerfield after arriving from there the previous day.

Finally, also on Tuesday 18 October, Machjet (Machjet International) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-ZSY arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Townsville and later departed to Brisbane. It later returned back North.

The Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ also arrived into Rockhampton Airport but from Brisbane before it later departed to Townsville.

Brisbane-based Australian Agricultural Company Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-AAC landed at Longreach Airport from Brisbane before then departing to Brunette Downs.  It seems to be doing this flight on a weekly basis!

North Queensland Warbirds Beech H18 VH-MBU looked to start to return back to Far North Queensland, arriving into Gayndah Aerodrome from Port Macquarie.

UPDATE!  On Wednesday 19 October, VH-MBU departed Gayndah Aerodrome for Cairns.

Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-DYN visited my local Clermont Aerodrome from Toowoomba-Wellcamp.

And Southern Air Beech 1900 VH-VSO visited Moranbah Airport once again, arriving from West Sale and Bourke and later departing back there and then eventually to Melbourne (Moorabbin).

Plus DeGunst Transport P/L Textron (Cessna) 208 Caravan VH-NPZ completed its weekly FIFO run from Bundaberg Airport to Nebo Aerodrome, this time with stops both on the way up and back at Rockhampton Airport.
