The Spartan was returning from Cairns to RAAF Base Amberley but reportedly suffered radar failure, and due to the weather in the South, it diverted to Bundaberg Airport.
After around an hour on the ground, A34-008 "Wallaby 74" departed Bundaberg Airport for Amberley.
Of interest, A34-008 "Wallaby 74" was in Cairns on Saturday 22 October giving the local Royal Australian Air Force Cadettes some 'air experience' on local flights out of and back to Cairns out over the Great Barrier Reef.
