Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-FWH at Gladstone Airport on FIFO - Plus a Few Lighties!

Touching down at Gladstone Airport late on Wednesday 30 April was Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-FWH.  It arrived at UTY650, presumably operating the 9-day cyclic Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter run from Brisbane.

After staying overnight, VH-FWH departed early on Thursday 1 May as UTY651, returning to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, notable lighter movements this week have included a pair of Cirrus Design Corporation aircraft in the form of New South Wales-based SR22 VH-UAG and Toowoomba-based SR22 VH-VIA.

Also, Cairns-based Developing Aviation Mooney M20J VH-CVB touched down from Mackay on Thursday 1 May, while J.M. Kelly (Project Builders) Cessna 310 VH-FFA has had a busy week popping into Gladstone on Wednesday 30 April.

Finally, local operators have been busy again with Air Charter CQ / Australia by Seaplane De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver Mk1 Floatplane VH-IDO seen making regular trips over to nearby Heron Island, along with Gladstone Helicopters / Heli-Reef (Aviation Tourism Australia) Bell 206L-3 VH-CKP.

Meanwhile, Gladstone Helicopters / Helireef Eurocopter EC135 helicopter VH-ZGZ has again been making frequent trips on and out Gladstone Airport transferring marine pilots to ships in Gladstone Harbour.
