Reports suggest that on
Friday 9 May, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 performed a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport. While local plane spotters didn't 'eyeball' the C-17, there were radio transmissions suggesting that C-17 "Stallion 41" - the callsign that A41-207 was seen using - was in the local area.

I have seen photos, and so can confirm, that A41-207 eventually flew South and also performed a missed approach at Maryborough Airport on
Friday 9 May.
Certainly a great sight!
