Broken Hill-Based Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) King Air VH-MWK Calls into Emerald Airport

Making a surprise but welcome visit to Emerald Airport last Friday 16 May was Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Beech B200C King Air VH-MWK.

The King Air – shown above at Sydney – is a rare visitor to Queensland as it is based with South-Eastern Section of the RFDS based out of Broken Hill.

On Friday VH-MWK flew into Emerald from the Clarence Valley Regional Airport before departing to Dubbo.  It was noted using the flight number and callsign of “FlyDoc 222”.
