A Toll ATR freighter usually visits Mackay Airport before dawn each weekday, arriving from Brisbane and later departing to Cairns (and occasionally Townsville).
On this occasion, it appears that VH-TOX arrived at Mackay and then spent the day parked at Mackay Airport. As a result, the ATR then flew to Rockhampton as TFX303, touching down around 7pm. From Rockhampton, VH-TOX departed later in the evening, continuing to Brisbane as TFX303.
The usual flights on Friday night operated by the ATR appear to have been operated by a Toll Freight (Toll Aviation) Metro.
