In what's looking like a great start to the new year, details have come through about a Community Day that Virgin Australia will be holding at Emerald Airport on Saturday 7 January.
The day will be held almost a week before Virgin Australia commence flights from Emerald to Brisbane with Skywest Airlines operated ATR 72-500 aircraft from Monday 16 January.
