Pitts Special (Pitts S-2B) Aerobatic Bi-Plane VH-LVE Spotted at Gladstone Airport

Local plane spotter Jamie C stuck his head out his window on Wednesday 21 August and was pleasantly surprised to see this cute little Port Macquarie-based Pitts S-2B (Pitts Special) Aerobatic Bi-plane - registered VH-LVE - passing through Gladstone Airport.

It's exact movements are unknown, however, Jamie's photos show that the pilot certainly put on a show as VH-LVE departed Gladstone, making a low pass before climbing out and away!

Also of note and recently spotted at Gladstone Airport by Jamie was Corporate Air / Vee H Aviation Cessna 441 VH-VED which he captured departing for parts unknown.

It's been a good week so far at Gladstone Airport - with hopefully more to come!
