The Rockhampton Aero Club Hosting Round 2 Flying Competition Day at Emu Park Airstrip This Weekend

Interested local aviators are reminded that the Rockhampton Aero Club Round 2 Flying Competition will be held this Sunday 25 August at the Emu Park Airfield.  The action is due to kick off around 10.00am.

The Competition is open to everyone - even if you have never flown a plane before - an instructor will be with you and will of course assist.  An entry fee of $5 is being set for all competitors, plus flight time.

Even if you want to come down to Emu Park and watch, spectators are most welcome - and it is FREE!

Don’t miss a great opportunity to come down and watch the action, and to fly a plane!  Who knows you may even win the competition!
