Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet A37-001 Pops into Gladstone Airport as "Wisdom 65"

Early on Friday 18 January, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-001 was noted arriving into Gladstone Airport from Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.  It was heard to be using the radio callsign of "Wisdom 65".

The Challenger was noted bringing Nationals Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack to town for a series of engagements.

Engagements complete, Mr McCormack boarded the Challenger and A37-001 then headed South all the way down to Launceston in Tasmania.

Meanwhile, also on Friday 18 January, the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY was noted visiting Emerald Airport.  It arrived from and later departed back to Brisbane.
